1In one sentence
You pay with credits; each generation costs a different number depending on the model, the length and the quality, and the free plan lets you look around but gives you no credits, a couple of picture models and no commercial use.
2New words
- Plan — your subscription level. In November 2026 the individual plans are Free, Starter, Plus and Ultra, with Team, Scale and Enterprise for companies. Check higgsfield.ai/pricing.
- Watermark — a small Higgsfield logo printed on the picture or video. Free results may carry one, and the pricing page says free results cannot be used commercially; paid plans do not have this limit.
- Unlimited — some models are marked "Unlimited" on the paid plans. When the Unlimited toggle is on, those models do not spend credits on the website. In November 2026 the list is mostly picture models (Seedream, FLUX, Nano Banana); a few video models appear on yearly or company plans. Which models, and for how long, depends on the plan.
- Top-up — buying extra credits once, outside your monthly pile.
- Resolution — how sharp the result is: 480p, 720p, 1080p, 4K. Sharper costs more.
3Why you would want it
Credits are the thing beginners get wrong. A quick picture might cost a handful of credits; a 15-second 1080p video with sound can cost well over a hundred. The site shows the cost on the Generate button before you press it, so the habit to build is simple: read the number, then press.
| Plan | Who it is for | What it adds, roughly |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Trying it out | No monthly credits, limited use of a couple of picture models, no commercial use |
| Starter | Occasional use | A monthly credit pile, more models, Unlimited on a few picture models |
| Plus | Regular creators | Bigger pile, higher-quality modes (for example Seedance "standard"), Unlimited on some models |
| Ultra | Daily heavy use | Largest pile, longest Unlimited list |
| Team / Scale / Enterprise | Companies | Seats, shared billing; only Enterprise keeps your content out of model training |
Credit rules worth knowing (Help Center, checked November 2026): monthly credits do not roll over; top-up and auto-refill credits expire 90 days after purchase; a finished generation is never refunded (the Help Center explains what happens to failed ones); anything made through Claude, ChatGPT or the API always spends credits, even on an Unlimited model.
4Try it now
- Click your profile picture, top right. Read your credit balance and plan name.
- Open higgsfield.ai/pricing in a new tab. Find the "Unlimited" list on each plan.
- Open Video and watch the number on the Generate button change as you switch the duration and the model (for example Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.5 Draft). Do not press it yet.
5What you will see
Your balance in the menu, and a Generate button that says something like "Generate ✦ 80", where 80 is the credit cost for exactly the settings you chose (on November 2, 2026 that was a 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip, 16:9, sound on).
6Watch out
- "Unlimited" means unlimited on the website only, and only on the models in your plan's list.
- A long, sharp video with sound can drain a Starter month in a few presses. Test with the cheap "Draft" or "Lite" versions and short lengths; go sharper only for the version you will publish.
7Go further
The free plan has no monthly credits, so you may need the cheapest paid plan or a credit pack even for Chapters 1.3 and 1.4; pictures are cheap, so start there. Then read Chapter 1.3 and make your first picture.
