1In one sentence
Higgsfield does not claim your outputs and does not restrict selling them, but you are responsible for the rights to what you upload (other people's faces, brands or copyrighted work), and the site learns from your content unless you are on Enterprise.
2New words
- Terms of Use — the contract you accepted when you signed up. The current version took effect August 27, 2026.
- License — permission. Higgsfield takes a license to store and process your files so the site can work; it ends when you delete your account, except for things you shared publicly.
- Likeness — a real person's face, voice or recognizable look.
- Training — using your content to improve the AI models. Higgsfield does this by default; deleting your account stops it going forward, but it cannot be undone for what was already learned.
- MCP — the connector that lets Claude or ChatGPT use Higgsfield for you. Needs a paid plan; always spends credits.
3Why you would want it
Most trouble with AI pictures is legal or social, not technical: a celebrity's face, a rival's logo, a "customer review" that never happened. The rules below keep Sam's Bakery out of all of it.
4The rules in plain words (Help Center and Terms, checked November 2026)
| Rule | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Higgsfield does not claim your outputs | You can post, print and sell them, also after you cancel |
| Free results are not for commercial use | The pricing page says so plainly; paid plans lift this for new files |
| You must have the rights to what you upload | Do not upload photos of people who have not agreed; this includes customers and staff |
| No infringing inputs or outputs | No copyrighted characters, logos or brands that are not yours |
| Your content trains models | Deleting your account stops it going forward; only Enterprise is excluded |
| You carry the risk | If someone claims your output copies them, that is between you and them; the full Terms say how |
5Try it now
- Open higgsfield.ai/creator-hub/help-center and read "Who owns my generations and can I use them commercially?" It is short.
- In Manage Account, check whether your profile is public and what you have published. Only published work shows there.
- Optional, paid plans: in Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Higgsfield, paste https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp, and Connect. Then ask Claude: What is my Higgsfield credit balance? If it answers from Higgsfield, the connector works.
6What you will see
A plain help page with the ownership rules, and in your account a Usage tab showing where your credits went.
7Watch out
- Through Claude or ChatGPT, every generation costs credits, even on Unlimited models, and there is no spending cap. Tell Claude ask me before every generation.
- The common mistakes, in order: not reading the credit number; testing at 4K; two actions in one prompt; re-describing the picture in image-to-video; using a real person's photo "just to try".
8Go further
Pick one real job for your own business: make a picture, animate it, finish it, post it, and keep the prompt that worked in a note. That note is the start of your own preset library.
